Toyota has a long reputation for providing reliable used cars, and many of their older models are still on the road.

The Camry and Corolla are the company's two most popular vehicles, and have been for many years. Due to the models' popularity, they command a high resale value, even after years of service. Yet at the same time, there are so many of the models on the road that finding a Camry or Corolla is not difficult. Drivers should especially be on the lookout for a used Camry Solara, a sportier version of the popular vehicle.

The company also makes a full complement of SUVs and trucks. Drivers in the market for a pickup will love the reduced prices on used Tacoma and Tundra trucks. Toyota SUVs, like the 4Runner, Highlander and FJ Cruiser, typically retail in the $20,000 range when bought new, but these vehicles can commonly be found below the $20,000 mark with a few thousand miles on them.

The used market is also the best place to find models that were only available for a few years, like the Echo, Celica and MR2 Spyder.

Toyota also has a warranty program available through the Toyota Used Certified moniker. This plan provides limited warranties on used Toyota vehicles.
