Suzuki offers a range of low-price models that become even cheaper when sought on the used car market.

The flagship Suzuki model is the SX4, which comes in four different variations. The sedan version is the most affordable model currently offered by the company, starting at around $13,500. Its also available as a crossover or hatchback. For a performance upgrade, drivers can seek out the SX4 Sport, which also adds some additional creature comforts. Many of these improvements are carried over to the hatchback model as well.

The Kizashi is a slight step up from the SX4, still under $20,000 but engineered to be more of a performance-oriented model. It also features modern interior improvements like Bluetooth and iPod integration, making it a low-end alternative to a luxury vehicle.

In terms of larger vehicles, Suzuki's current SUV offering is the Grand Vitara, which replaced the XL-7. It also makes the Equator pickup truck, which is available with an extended cab option.

Drivers shopping for used Suzuki will likely find prices even lower than the new car sticker price. Two discontinued models - the Reno hatchback and Verona sedan - can usually be found for well under $10,000, even for low mileage models. Suzuki continues to support these vehicles through its Certified Pre-Owned program.
