Mitsubishi is a Japanese automaker that offers a number of smaller, low-priced vehicles.

The Lancer is the basic compact Mitsubishi, which comes in three different designs. The base Lancer is the most affordable vehicle that the company offers, coming in at less than $15,000. Conversely, the Lancer Evolution is the most expensive car that the company offers, and is generally considered to be a good option for drivers looking for a slightly more affordable sports car. The Lancer Sportsback is priced in between these two and adds a hatchback design.

In terms of other passenger cars, Mitsubishi features the Galant family sedan and Eclipse line of coupes. The Eclipse is available as the basic coupe model or as a Spyder convertible.

Mitsubishi's two larger vehicles are both crossover-based. The Outlander, while the smaller and less expensive of the two, can seat up to 7. The Endeavor, meanwhile, offers a more spacious interior and creature comfort upgrades, although it only has seating for five.

On the used car market, drivers will be able to find even larger vehicles in the form of the Montero full-size SUV and Raider pickup truck, both of which have been discontinued by the company in recent years.
