Lincoln is Ford's luxury brand and offers a mix of passenger cars and SUVs.
Lincoln's lineup features three premium sedans; the
MKZ,
MKS and Town Car. While the
MKZ and
MKS are newer models that have gained some
acclaim recently, the Town Car is a stalwart classic that drivers will easily be
able to find on the used car market. It is being discontinued this year after 30
years of production.
Lincoln's luxury crossover, the
MKX, recently received a redesign for the 2011 year, meaning
drivers may be able to find older models at a discount. The
MKT is a mid-range SUV option while the Navigator is a
fully-loaded large SUV designed to compete with the likes of the Cadillac Escalade.
When shopping late-model Lincolns, drivers should keep an eye out for those equipped
with Ford's Sync feature, which allows drivers to easily connect their iPods and
cell phones.
Pickup truck enthusiasts who want a bit of an upgrade in the creature comfort area
may also gravitate toward the Lincoln Mark
LT, a rare luxury truck model.
Environmentally-conscious drivers might be interested to know that the
MKZ hybrid is currently priced at the same figure as the
gas-powered
MKZ, another rarity in the auto world.
