Kia is a brand best known as being focused on affordability, meaning used Kias can
be some of the cheapest cars that on the lot.
A good example of this is the brand's base model, the
Kia Rio. While this car starts at around $12,000, used Rios can be found
for under $10,000. The
Rio5 is quite similar to the base Rio, but features a hatchback style rather
than a compact sedan.
For several years, the Kia Spectra was the brand's best-selling car. It has since
been replaced by the
Forte, which can also come as the sportier (and slightly more expensive)
Forte Koup option.
Kia's SUVs and crossovers are priced slightly higher than their sedans but still
offer good value as compared to the SUVs offered by other companies. Kia makes three
SUVs; the compact
Sportage, mid-sized
Sorento and full-sized
Borrego. Families might also be interested in the
Sedona minivan.
On the used market, drivers may also find the discontinued
Kia Amanti or
Rondo. The
Amanti was the brand's first attempt at a full-size sedan, while
the
Rondo was a family-oriented wagon that the brand eventually deemed too similar
to the
Sportage to exist on its own.
