Hyundai, a South Korean based automaker, has gained steam in recent months thanks
to its lineup of affordable vehicles performing well in the tough economy.
Many of Hyundai's vehicles are already on the low end in terms of price, so shopping
for a Hyundai on the used car market can be a great value buy. Consider the base
model
Accent for example, which starts below $10,000 new. For a driver who wants
to get from point A to point B with few bells and whistles, an
Accent will do the trick, but some drivers may want to step up the
Elantra - still a bargain below $15,000.
Hyundai's flagship, however, is the
Sonata, which has been a top seller for the company for several years. The
Sonata, dating back to 1985, has gone through several redesigns over the
years, most recently this year. This means there are a variety of Sonatas on the
used market.
The used car market is also the only place drivers will be able to find the
Hyundai Entourage minivan, a popular and affordable choice for families
that was discontinued in 2009. Families may instead opt for a
Tucson,
Santa Fe or
Veracruz, all crossovers made by Hyundai in differing sizes.
