Buick is the oldest American automaker and thus has a large lineup of used vehicles
for drivers to choose from.
In recent years, Buick has trimmed its fleet, to the point that it currently only
offers four new models: the
Regal,
LaCrosse and
Lucerne sedans and the
Enclave crossover SUV.
Fortunately, buyers who are shopping used have quite a few more options when it
comes to picking a vehicle. And since Buick is owned by GM, all of these vehicles
qualify for the GM Certified pre-owned program, meaning they'll come with extended
warranties and additional protections. Drivers can purchase the
LaCrosse'spredecessor in the Century or the
Lucerne's with the Park Avenue.
SUV and crossover owners have further options where Buick's discontinued models
are considered. The
Enclave has been a big hit for the company, but some drivers
might like the alternate choices of the Rainier, Rendezvous or Terraza.
Drivers who want a classic large car should look into the LeSabre. This model was
popular among buyers for much of its lifespan, dating all the way back to 1959.
Buick only recently ended production on the car in 2005, so drivers can still likely
find plenty of options on the used market.
