Audi is the luxury arm of German automaker Volkswagen, mainly focusing on coupes and sedans.

Many drivers may find Audi's passenger cars to be moderately priced in comparison to other luxury brands, and this price drops even lower when shopping on the used market. The company's A3 wagon, TT coupe, A4 and A5 sedans all begin at less than $40,000. Nearly all of these are available with a performance upgrade - the TTS Coupe or S4 and S5 sedans, for example. While these models will fetch a premium over their base counterparts, the increased horsepower and handling is worth it for some drivers.

In terms of larger sedans, drivers will be looking at the A6 or A8. The A6's high-performance counterpart is the S6, while the more expensive A8 has no true high-performance counterpart at the moment, although Audi plans to launch the S8 in the near future.

Away from the sedans, Audi also offers the R8 supercar as either a coupe or spyder. This vehicle has been praised as one of the better sports cars available on the market.
