GMC, a division of General Motors, is a good choice for drivers who are looking
for trucks, SUVs and vans.
The bread and butter of the GMC line is the
Sierra pickup truck. This pickup can already tow over 10,000 pounds in its
base model, but the towing capacity really skyrockets when one upgrades to the
Sierra HD (heavy duty).
While the Sierra is the full-size truck, drivers may want something a bit smaller,
so GMC offers the
Canyon - slightly smaller and more affordable, but still gets the job done
in many cases.
The brand also offers three SUVS, in ascending size, they are the
Acadia,
Terrain and
Yukon, with the Terrain replacing the
Envoy that was sold for much of the decade. The
Yukon is considered to be the main draw here, with its massive
size only increasing when drivers opt for the "XL" option - approaching
a size somewhat similar to its counterpart, the Chevy Suburban.
