The Smart Fortwo is a rear-engined city car that has been in production since 1998. It was first displayed at the 1998 Paris Motor Show.

The vehicle comes in three different trims, each equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine which can produce 70 hp at 5,800 rpm and 68 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. Consumers can choose between a hatchback or convertible for this model.

Estimated fuel consumption for the standard edition is between 33 city and 41 highway miles per gallon.

Entertainment features for the city car include MP3-playback capability, an amplifier, DVD player, voice-activated navigation system and Bluetooth hands-free calling. The automobile has a number of safety accessories such as emergency braking assist, occupancy sensor, remote keyless entry, content theft-deterrent alarm system and panic alarm. Other features include heated front seats, a trip computer, air filters and a sunroof.

The latest edition of the Fortwo comes in several different colors, such as Green Matte, Light Blue, Deep Black, Crystal White and Rally Red. Pricing for this model starts at $12,490.
