The Scion xD is a five-door subcompact hatchback vehicle that has been in production since 2007. It was introduced as a replacement for the Scion xA model.
This vehicle is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The motor powers up to 128 hp at 6,000 rpm and 125 lb-ft torque at 4,400 rpm, giving Scion drivers a fuel economy of 27 city and 33 highway miles per gallon.
Features of the xD model include air conditioning, remote keyless entry, bucket seating, rear-window wiper, Pioneer audio system, USB port with iPod connectivity, auxiliary audio jack and more.
There is an extensive safety system within the Scion xD, which consists of driver and front passenger front, side, side-curtain and knee airbags.
Customers have a variety of colors to choose form when they purchase the xD, including Black Sand, Barcelona Red, Magnetic Gray, Nautical Blue, Silver Streak, Super White and Black Currant.
