The Saturn Ion is a compact car that was in production from 2003 to 2007. The vehicle succeeded the automaker's Saturn S-Series.

There are two different trims for this model and both come equipped with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that can produce 145 hp at 5,600 rpm and 150 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. The automobile's maximum towing limit is 1,000 lbs and its cargo capacity is 14.7 cubic feet.

Estimated fuel consumption for both versions are between 26 city and 35 highway miles per gallon.

Entertainment features for the compact car include satellite radio, MP3 playback capability, auxiliary iPod audo input, an amplifier and equalizer. The vehicle also comes with a number of safety devices, such as an occupancy sensor, OnStar protection services, remote keyless entry, a panic alarm, child safety locks and a content theft-deterrent system.

Pricing for the latest edition of the Saturn Ion ranges between $12,300 and $19,900. Consumers can select from a wide variety of colors, such as Berry Red, Black Onyx, Cypress Green, Deep Blue, Golden Cashmere, Polar White, Silver Nickel and Storm Gray.
