The Nissan Xterra is a compact SUV that has been in production since 2000. This model was the first of its kind for the automaker to introduce in the United States.

The Xterra is available in multiple colors, including Avalanche, Silver Lightning, Night Armor, Lava Red, Red Brick and Super Black. Customers have the option of choosing gray cloth or leather upholstery for the interior.

This model is equipped with a 4.0-liter V6 engine, which powers up to 261 hp at 5,600 rpm and 281 lb-ft torque at 4,000 rpm. Drivers can choose between a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission for the Xterra and will be able to achieve 15 city to 22 highway miles per gallon.

Features of the SUV include Bluetooth connectivity, remote keyless entry, in-dash six-CD player, iPod integration, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, speed-sensitive volume control and up to nine speakers with an eight-inch subwoofer. XM satellite radio is available on automatic transmission models only. The latest edition of the Nissan Xterra is available from $23,850 in X, S and PRO-4X trims.
