The Mitsubishi Lancer is a compact vehicle that has been in production since 1973. Currently in its ninth generation, this model has also been produced as a subcompact car. It was introduced as a successor to the Mirage.

The Lancer is available in a number of great shades, including Rally Red, Apex Silver, Graphite Gray, Octane Blue, Rotor Glow, Wicked White and Tarmac Black. The latest edition begins at $15,195 and is also available in Sportback and Evolution editions.

There are two powertrain options for the compact car. The DE, ES and Ralliart trims are equipped with a 2.0-liter I-4 engine, which generates 148 hp at 6,000 rpm, 146 lb-ft torque at 4,200 rpm and achieves 28 miles per gallon with a 15.6-gallon fuel tank. The GTS is offered with a 2.4-liter I-4 engine, producing 168 hp at 6,000 rpm and 167 lb-ft torque, with 26 miles to the gallon.
