The Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size sedan produced by the Ford Motor Company since 1983.

The latest edition of the Grand Marquis is equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 engine mated to a four-speed electronic automatic transmission with overdrive, producing up to 224 hp at 4,800 rpm and 275 lb-ft torque at 4,000 rpm. In terms of fuel economy, Mercury is able to run on E85 FlexFuel and provides customers with 41 city miles and 36 highway miles per gallon. It is offered in rear-wheel drive.

Features of the sedan include a dual media system with cassette and CD player, auto-dimming rear view mirror, leather-trimmed accents and heated front bench seating.

The driver and front passenger are protected with front and side airbags, as well as a crash severity sensing system. The Grand Marquis also offers keyless entry and an anti-theft system.

The last model of this car was produced for the 2010 model year, as Ford announced that it would cease production of Mercury brand vehicles after 72 years of business.
