The Mazda Tribute is a compact crossover utility vehicle (CUV) that hasbeen in production since 2001. It was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2000 as a successor to the Navajo model, which was sold in the United States and Mexico, and the Proceed Levante, sold in Japan.
The Tribute is offered in five different colors - Tuxedo Black, Sangria Red, White Suede, Ingot Silver and Steel Blue - that will be paired with a black leather interior. There are also four different trim levels of the CUV, beginning at $20,555.
The Tribute "i" Sport Touring and Grand Touring editions are equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 171 hp at 6,000 rpm and 171 lb-ft torque at 4,500 rpm, with a fuel economy of 20 to 28 miles per gallon. The "s" Grand Touring trim is outfitted with a 3.0-liter V6 engine, achieving 240 hp at 6,550 rpm, 223 lb-ft torque at 4,300 rpm and 18 to 25 miles per gallon.
Features of the Tribute CUV include a rearview camera for backup assistance, remote keyless entry, HomeLink, five-passenger seating capacity, four- or seven-speaker audio system, SIRIUS Satellite Radio with free trial subscription, iPod integration and more.
