The Mazda RX-8 is a sports car that has been in production since 2003. It was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in 2001 as a successor to the RX-7 and Cosmo models.

The four-door quad coupe, which begins at $26,795, is available in three trim levels - the Sport, Grand Touring and R3. Each edition is equipped with a 1.3-liter rotory engine that produces 159 lb-ft torque at 5,500 rpm. With a manual transmission, the RX-8 produces 232 hp at 8,500 rpm, and with an automatic gearbox, 212 hp at 7,500 rpm.

This model is available in three sleek colors - Velocity Red, Sparkling Black and Liquid Silver - and comes standard with a black leather interior.

Features of the RX-8 include Bluetooth connectivity, remote keyless entry, remote engine start, HomeLink, six- or nine-speaker Bose audio system, SIRIUS Satellite radio with free trial subscription, seven-inch touch screen navigation system and iPod integration.

The sports car has a capacity for four passengers with manually adjustable Recaro front sport seats.
