The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the Chrysler brand's most popular models. It has been in production as a mid-size SUV since 1993 and was newly introduced as a crossover for the current model year.

The Grand Cherokee shares its engine specs with the Dodge Durango, as they are both produced on the same Detroit assembly line. Drivers have three power options - the base version is equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, while other trims offer eight cylinders under the hood with 5.7- and 6.4-liter displacements.

The V6 edition can generate 290 hp and 260 lb-ft torque, and is estimated to get 16 city and 22 highway mpg.

Customers have a variety of exterior colors to choose from, including Blackberry, Inferno Red and Natural Green.

There are four trim options for the Grand Cherokee - the Laredo, Laredo X, Limited and Overland. Standard features include keyless ignition, satellite radio, remote start, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. Optional equipment ranges from rear-view backup assistance and leather upholstery to nine speaker HD radio with touchscreen.
