The Ford Taurus has been in the automaker's portfolio since 1985. It was introduced as a replacement for the LTD and is currently in its sixth generation.

Customers have two engine options when purchasing a Taurus, the first of which is a 3.5-liter V6 motor. It generates up to 263 hp at 6,250 rpm and 249 lb-ft torque at 4,500 rpm, receving 17-28 miles per gallon, depending on whether it is driven in all- or four-wheel drive. The second option is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, offering 365 hp at 5,550 rpm and 350 lb-ft torque at 1,500 to 5,250 rpm. Both are mated to a six-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission.

Features of the Taurus include touch screen navigation, rearview camera for backup assistance and Ford's SYNC system. SYNC allows drivers to pair Bluetooth-enabled phones to the vehicle so they can safely make hands-free calls, as well as control music via voice command and receive traffic and navigation information.

The sedan also has Ice Blue lighting in the dash, center stack and switches, leather-trimmed and heated seating, HD radio and more.

The Taurus begins at $25,170 and is available in SE, SEL and Limited trim levels.
