Customers looking for higher performance can choose the 4.0-liter V6 engine, which generates up to 207 hp at 5,250 rpm and 238 lb-ft torque at 3,000 rpm. With manual transmission, this motor receives 16 to 21 mpg.

Entertainment features of the Ranger include SIRIUS Satellite Radio and MP3 player compatibility.

In terms of safety, the truck has side airbags, Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control for assistance driving in difficult weather and a tire pressure monitoring system. Available options include a remote vehicle starter and keyless entry.
