General Motors is the manufacturer for the Chevrolet Traverse, which has been on the market since the 2009 model year. It is a full-size crossover SUV that can fit up to eight passengers.

There are four trim levels of the Traverse - LS, 1LT, 2LT and LTZ - and all are available with all-wheel drive and a 3.6-liter engine. Mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, the V6 motor produces 281 hp at 6,300 rpm and 266 lb-ft torque at 3,400 rpm. The SUV gets 24 highway miles per gallon when used in front-wheel drive.

Key features of the crossover include XM Radio and NavTraffic, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. Higher trim levels can enjoy a rear seat DVD player, ten-speaker Bose sound system, rear parking assistance, powertilt sliding sunroof and more.
Chevy provides its customers with OnStar services by General Motors, available with a subscription, which offers protection through roadside assistance and emergency response.

The Traverse is available in several colors, including Silver Ice, Steel Green, Cyber Gray, Gold Mist and Black Granite, as well as a Red Jewel tintcoat and White Diamond tricoat.
