The Chevrolet Tahoe is a full-sized SUV that evolved out of GMC's Yukon and Blazer models, officially beginning production as the Tahoe in 1995. It is a largely popular vehicle for the Chevy brand, selling nearly 103,000 units in 2009, and reached its sales peak earlier in the decade with more than 286,000 sold.

The SUV is equipped with an eight-cylinder V8 engine that generates 320 hp at 5,400 rpm and 335 lb-ft torque at 4,000 rpm. Operating with four-wheel drive, the fuel tank has a 26-gallon capacity and receives 15 city and 21 highway mpg.

Customers have several options for the Tahoe's exterior color, with a range of metallics including Black Granite, Sheer Silver, Taupe Grey and the new Mocha Steel and Steel Green colors.

Features include an anti-theft system, rear view camera for back-up assistance, remote start and an optional navigation system.

The Chevy Tahoe is available in three trim levels: the LS, LT and LTZ. Special features of the latter two trims include heated front seats, Bose entertainment system and leather bucket seating for eight and seven passengers, respectively.
