Chevrolet has been producing its Suburban since 1935, making it the longest-lived continuous car model that is still in production.
The Suburban has had many iterations throughout the last 75 years, and is currently produced as a pickup truck with a station wagon chassis. The most recent model has a towing capacity of more than four tons and can seat up to nine passengers.
Powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine, the full-size SUV can produce up to 320 hp and 335 lb-ft torque. Chevy prides itself on its Active Fuel Management, giving the Suburban 15 city mpg and 21 highway mpg.
Equipped with a variety of entertainment features, occupants can enjoy Bose Surround Sound, rear DVD player and USB port for iPod connectivity. The vehicle and its passengers are kept safe with a steel safety cage, six airbags, rearview camera system and OnStar communications service. OnStar provides drivers with roadside assistance, navigation and automatic crash response.
Beginning at $40,925, the Suburban is available in three trim styles - LS, LT and LTZ - with either two- or four-wheel drive.
