The Camaro is a classic Chevrolet model that was introduced in the sixties. The pony car is currently in its fifth generation, which began in 2009.
The base version of the Camaro comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing up to 312 hp at 6,400 rpm and 278 lb-ft torque at 5,200 rpm.
Key features of the car include a six-speed manual transmission with available automatic, front and side airbags for driver and passenger, XM Radio and iPod connectivity. Optional amenities include a sunroof, leather upholstery, nine-speaker Boston Acoustics stero system, Bluetooth capability, auto-dimming mirrors and a rear spoiler.
There are five trim levels of the current Camaro - the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS and 2SS. The latter two trims have the option of a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 426 hp at 5,900 rpm and 420 lb-ft torque at 4,600 rpm.
Customers have a colorful palette to choose from for the vehicle's exterior, including Rally Yellow, Synergy Green, Inferno Orange and Victory Red.
The sports car debuted in 1967 as a competitor to the Ford Mustang.
