The Buick LaCrosse is a mid-sized sedan that has been in production since 2004 by its parent company, General Motors.
Created as a replacement for the Buick Century, the LaCrosse is a four-door sports sedan that reached its sales peak in 2005 with nearly 93,000 sales in the United States. The newest version is in the model's second generation and begins at $26,495.
The base edition of the LaCrosse, which operates in front-wheel drive, is powered by a V4 2.4-liter engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It generates 182 hp at 6,700 rpm and 172 lb-ft torque at 4,900 rpm. The car comes standard with OnStar communications service, which offers roadside assistance, among other features.
In terms of fuel economy, the LaCrosse receives 19 city and 30 highway mpg, and has a fuel capacity of 18.4 gallons.
The sedan is available in multiple trims: CXS and CXL, with the latter available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
Customers can choose from a variety of exterior colors including Midnight Blue, Gold Mist, Summit White, Mocha Steel and Red Jewel.
