The BMW 7 Series is a range of full-size luxury cars that have been in production since 1977. The four-door sedan is currently in its fifth generation.

There are multiple powertrain options provided by the automaker, the standard 740i model being equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 315 hp at 5,800 rpm and 330 lb-ft torque at 1,600 rpm. The 750i is outfitted with a 4.4-liter V8 motor that generates 400 hp at 5,500 rpm and 450 lb-ft torque at 1,750 rpm.

BMW also offers the 7 Series as a hybrid model, using a 4.4-liter V8 engine and 120-volt battery mated to an eight-speed automatic or manual transmission. This high-performance, eco-friendly model achieves 455 hp at 5,500 rpm and 515 lb-ft torque at 2,000 rpm.
