The Volkswagen Eos is a retractable hardtop coupe convertible that has been in production since 2006. It was introduced as a successor to the Golf Cabriolet model.

Both trims of the Eos - Komfort and Lux- are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 200 hp and 207 lb-ft torque. They are available with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Features of the convertible include eight speakers, a hands-free calling system provided by Bluetooth, iPod integration and auxiliary jack for other portable music players, a touchscreen premium sound system and eight audio speakers. There is also heated seating, a navigation system, leather upholstery and more.

As for safety, the Eos is equipped with automatic rollover protection, as well as an Intelligent Crash Response System.

The latest edition of the Volkswagen Eos begins at $36,100 and is available in Thunder Blue, Reflex Silver, Black, Candy White and Salsa Red.
