Jaguar

Jaguar is a British-based luxury car brand. It is currently owned by Tata Motors of India, who bought the company from Ford in a highly-publicized 2008 deal.

The Jaguar brand focuses exclusively on sedans, coupes, and convertibles. The company's flagship model is the full-size XJ sedan, which recently got a total redesign to conform to modern standards. The new XJ will be available this year.

For a mid-size sedan, check out the XF. Jaguar includes a number of powertrain options on all its models, such as the "premium," "supercharged," and "portfolio" packages. "Supercharged" slightly upgrades the engine, while others give cosmetic or comfort changes.

Finally, the XK is Jaguar's two-door coupe/convertible. The XF and XK share the ability to be upgraded to and XKR or XFR. This designation replaces the already powerful engine with a 5.0-liter V8 with 510 horsepower.

The "R" class is designed to bring racing-level specs to the ordinary consumer. Famously, the XFR broke Jaguar's previous 1992 speed record set by the now discontinued XJ220. The company released a video on their website showcasing the vehicle.
