Dodge
Dodge is a division of Chrylser that offers a full range of vehicles. Over the years,
Dodge has become known for its Charger, Challenger, and Viper models, as well as
its line of Ram trucks.
In 2009, the Ram line of trucks was spun off into its own brand, separate from Dodge,
although the two maintain a shared dealership network and are closely linked. Ram
pickup truck options include the 1500, 2500, 3500, and Dakota.
The basic Dodge sedan is the Avenger, which is the company's mid-size four-door
offering. Dodge also makes the hatchback Caliber.
In recent years, Dodge has shifted toward more performance-oriented vehicles. The
company's four-door Charger and two-door Challenger share the same platform, and
are based off of Dodge's classic models.
The V10-powered Viper is the company's high-end two-door roadster and boasts 600
horsepower. It's due to get a redesign in the coming years, and Dodge is currently
marketing 2010 Vipers as the "final edition."
Dodge also makes a line of SUVs and vans. The Nitro is a full-size SUV, the Journey
is a mid-size crossover, and the Grand Caravan is the company's minivan.
