Toyota is encouraging graduates to buy 05/09/2011
As many students prepare to walk the stage and accept their diploma, some may be wondering about the real-life decisions they'll have to make following graduation. Because the job market is somewhat difficult to navigate, some may refrain from making any large purchases immediately following the end of their schooling.

Toyota Motor Company is looking to help students afford a vehicle by offering a $1,000 rebate to qualified graduates who are looking to purchase a new Corolla, Matrix, RAV4, Camry (but not the hybrid model), Tacoma and Yaris, as well as all new Scion models.

"We understand that it's certainly a tough time to be entering this economy, so it's our hope that this $1,000 rebate, which can be coupled with other incentives, gives these new grads a break and gets them securely started on their next phase of life," said Mike Groff, TFS group vice president of sales, marketing and product development.

Additionally, qualified college graduates could also enroll in the College Graduate Finance Program, which includes no money down and no monthly payments for the first 90 days and a waiver on the lease's security deposit.
