The Panamera Turbo S will come to the U S at the end of April 04/01/2011
In late April, the 2012 Porsche Panamera Turbo S will be displayed at the New York Auto Show. Car enthusiasts who want to purchase the vehicle can expect it to hit U.S. markets in late spring and have a starting price of $174,175, according to Edmunds Inside Line.
The vehicle has a top speed of 190 miles per hour and can reach 60 miles per hour from rest in 3.6 seconds. Porsche claims that the vehicle's fuel consumption will be similar to its Turbo model, which can achieve between 15 city and 23 miles per gallon, the news source reported.
When it comes to the car's powertrain, the Panamera is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine, which can generate between 500 to 550 hp and 516 to 553 lb-ft of torque. Consumers who purchase the vehicle can opt for the Sport Chrono Package Turbo, which will increase the torque production to 590 lb-ft, reported the news source.
The vehicle is offered in a special Agate Gray Metallic color and car buyers will have two options in terms of the interior's fabric color - black and cream or agate gray and cream leather.
