The Jaguar XKR-S will debut at the Geneva Auto Show 03/01/2011
With the Geneva Auto Show just around the corner, many automakers are gearing up to introduce a number of new vehicles and concept cars. Among them is the Jaguar XKR-S.
U.S. consumers will get to purchase the British luxury car in 2012 and it will be one of the most exclusive and powerful vehicles the automaker has produced, according to Edmunds Inside Line.
The company claims that the newest edition of the XKR-S is the fastest, most "agile, nimble and driver-focused" Jaguar it has ever manufactured, the news source reported.
Jaguar has not released all of the specs for the XKR-S, but all information will be available at the Geneva Auto Show, which starts on March 1. However, the firm did announce that the vehicle comes equipped with a 5.0-liter engine, which achieves 550 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque.
The automobile can also reach 60 miles per hour from rest in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 186 miles per hour, reported the news source.
