The Infiniti M37 03/23/2011
The 2011 Infiniti M37 and the Acura RL have a lot of similarities - but one of them has to be the better car. An analysis below will determine what's the best vehicle to buy.

According to Edmunds.com, the Infiniti model is cheaper than the Acura but has a higher true market value around $44,500.

The M37 has a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 330 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission gives the car some extra oomph against the Acura's six-speed automatic.

The RL also has a 3.7-liter V6 engine, but only gets 300 horsepower. It gets a little more torque, however, at 271 ft-lbs. With four-wheel drive, the RL also gets more road control compared to the M37, which only has rear wheel drive.

Both vehicles come with heated leather seats, keyless ignition, iPod dock and a 5-person seating capacity.

In all, the win goes to the Infiniti. It costs less, but is worth more. It has plenty of power and monthly gas costs are about $10 cheaper. Perhaps if the Acura was cheaper, it might be worth it, but who needs four-wheel drive on a sedan?
