The Ferrari FF is the 612 Scaglietti's successor 03/01/2011
Ferrari plans to debut its new FF at the Geneva Auto Show next week. The automaker recently released a video preview of the vehicle, which stands for Ferrari Four, according to Edmunds Inside Line.

The car seats four passengers and comes with four-wheel drive. According to Ferrari, the FF is made up of ultra-light materials and is 50 percent lighter than the usual 4WD system, the news source reported.

"It delivers record levels of performance on all terrains and in all conditions via continuous and intelligent predictive torque distribution to all four wheels,” Ferrari said in a statement.

The automobile comes with a 6.3-liter V12 engine, which is one of the biggest the company has ever used. It is able to achieve 651 horsepower and 504 lb-ft of torque. The car also has a seven-speed manual transmission with semi-automatic paddle shift, reported the news source.

The 612 Scaglietti is a two-door coupe that was first announced in 2004. The vehicle comes equipped with a 5.7-liter V12 engine that generates 532 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 434 lb-ft at 5,250 rpm.
