The Blue2 concept car by Hyundai debuts at Korean auto show 04/14/2011
South Korean car company Hyundai recently debuted its environmentally-friendly Blue2 model, which is a fuel-cell electric automobile powered by hydrogen energy, according to Edmunds Inside Line.

The car company reported that the vehicle uses a 90-kilowatt engine, which is the equivalent to generating 121 hp. In terms of fuel consumption, the Blue2 can achieve 34.9 kilometers per liter, the news source reported.

Consumers can expect the car to come with a few unique features, such as the car company's signature "Motion Sensor Moustick," which can sense hand motions. The automobile also has leather seats and a device that will clean the air, reported the news source.

Instead of traditional side mirrors, the Blue2 is equipped with side cameras and a roof camera. The vehicle's cabin has an asymmetric dashboard and roomier seats as well, according to Hyundai.

In addition, the automobile's name derives from the chemical symbol for Hydrogen (H2) and the auto firm's "Blue Drive" models. The Blue2 is also Hyundai's first fuel cell-efficient vehicle and the firm plans to use the concept car as a "blueprint for future sedans."
