As Chevrolet prepares to debut its 2012 Corvette, details are beginning to get leaked. Car enthusiasts may be excited to find out that the new models of the Z06 and ZR1 will feature high-performance tires and racing wheels.
Auto Week reports that these two upgrades are major changes to the Corvette line, however Chevrolet is also doing some of its own leaking to get fans excited. According to the news provider, Chevrolet announced there will be a Centennial Edition package available for the 2012 model, which will be available on all trim levels.
Additionally, other changes to the cars include a color palate of red, silver, yellow or dark gray for the Corvette brake calipers and a carbon-fiber hood that will be available for Z06 models.
Auto Evolution reports that the standard 2012 Corvette will review a new exterior finish named Carlisie Blue and a number of new features for the interior design, which includes suede seat inserts and a sports steering wheel, keeping in tune with the racing theme.
