Sales are up 50 percent from 2009 for Maserati, as the 2011 GranTurismo continues to boost sales for the luxury carmaker.
Maserati expects the convertible version of this years model is to sell 600 units within the United States.
The Italian sports car is hand built and customizable, with chosen modifications pulling into your driveway within four months, according to Maserati.
Interior of the GranTurismo is all leather, with rosewood trim and behind-the-wheel paddle shifters.
Behind the front axle is the 4.7-liter, eight-cylinder engine climbing up to 433hp, and a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. The positioning of the engine helps to balance the weight of the car. Achieving zero to 60mph within 5.1 seconds, the car can reach speeds upwards of 175mph.
Fuel economy for the GranTurismo matches the standard for an exotic sports car, yielding 11 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway.
The 2011 Maserati is available from $117,500 for a coupe, and $135,800 for a convertible.
