Kia debuts its Naimo 04/14/2011
Several car companies recently debuted their electric or hybrid concept cars at the 2011 Seoul Auto Show, such as Chevrolet and Hyundai. Kia also displayed its electric concept called the Naimo, according to Edmunds Inside Line.

On one charge of its twin-pack lithium-ion polymer battery, the vehicle can travel 124 miles. It also has a top speed of 93 miles per hour and is powered by a magnet synchronous engine, which can achieve 107 hp, the news source reported.

The windshield is unique as it circles halfway around the Naimo. The car features an asymmetric sunroof and comes with 20-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle also shares similarities with the auto company's Soul model, reported the news source.

"Naimo is a perfect balance of innovation, high-tech and Korean tradition," Kia Motors' chief design officer, Peter Schreyer, said in a statement.

Consumers will enjoy the elegant oak panels incorporated into the Naimo's doors and floor and a number of unique aesthetic features the car offers. In addition, the automobile's name derives from Korean and translates to "square shape," according to Kia.
