Chrysler is hoping to attract some new buyers 05/18/2011
As the summer months get underway, automakers are looking to cash in on consumers who are hoping to get a fresh set of wheels in time for summer. As it continues to bring itself back from bankruptcy, Chrysler is pulling out all of the advertising stops to ensure that consumers are turned on by the new look.

The Detroit Free Press reports that although the automaker experienced a 9 percent drop in sales this past month, Chrysler believe that summer is the time to shine. The U.S. automaker is planning to shell out a newly designed Chrysler 300 and a Chrysler 200 convertible that is sure to attract some attention from those looking to drive around with the top down this summer.

Additionally, the company announced that it would be doing all new advertising platforms to hopefully entice buyers. For example, rap superstar Dr. Dre will be featured in the advertisements for the Beats by Dr. Dre sound system, which will be featured in the brand new model of the Chrysler 300S.
