Chrysler buyers remain satisfied with their vehicles 05/20/2011
Although it's had some hardships over the past few years, Chrysler was named the "Top Popular Brand" during AutoPacific's 15th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.
Additionally, the brand's Town and Country and Jeep Grand Cherokee were given the honors of Best Minivan and Premium Mid-Size SUV, respectively. The awards are presented to car companies that have the highest customer satisfaction. The organization asked more than 68,000 drivers what they thought of their vehicles this year.
Company executives were honored by the recognition, saying that it's the main goal to ensure that consumers are happy with the kind of car they drive. 2011 marks a year of change for the automaker, as every model is either new or has been updated.
"Chrysler is honored the satisfaction experienced by our owners with their new Chrysler vehicle resulted in winning the 'Top Popular Brand' in AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Awards," said Olivier Francois, chief executive officer (CEO) of Chrysler Brand. "Chrysler is passionate about building vehicles that customers are proud to own, and this award, based on owner feedback, reinforces the 2011 Chrysler lineup does just that."
