Car enthusiasts can buy Oprah's Bentley on eBay 03/30/2011
Car enthusiasts now have the chance to purchase Oprah Winfrey's 1996 Bentley Azure, as the world-famous talk show host put it up for sale on the auction website eBay, according to Edmunds Inside Line.
Consumers can obtain the vehicle without placing a bid if they opt for the "Buy it Now" feature and fork over the asking price of $67,900. Although it was purchased in February of 1996, the vehicle only has 49,000 miles on it. Winfrey purchased the automobile for $335,000 at Braman Motors in Miami, the news source reported.
"The salesman who sold it to her is a friend and he said she came in on her 42nd birthday with her pal, Gayle King, and said she was buying herself a birthday present," the owner of Boulevard Auto in Ft. Lauderdale, who listed the vehicle on eBay, Mark Scarincio, told the news provider.
The automobile is in great condition and is painted black. It also has a white-leather interior and comes equipped with heated front seats, chrome wheels and an Alpine stereo.
