Aston Martin to debut Virage at auto show in March 02/25/2011
The Geneva Auto Show will begin next week but several automakers, including Mercedes, Rolls-Royce and Dodge, have already allowed consumers to preview their new cars online, many weeks before the start date of the event.
British automaker Aston Martin revealed its new Virage - which means to bend or turn in French. The luxury car comes equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 engine that can produce 490 hp and has a six-speed automatic transmission.
The vehicle can reach 62 miles per hour from rest in only 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 186 miles per hour, according to Edmunds Inside Line.
The Virage will have a number of features, including cruise control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth hands-free calling, a top-of-the-line audio system and iPod integration. Additionally, the car's interior will have a leather treatment, the news source reported.
Although Aston Martin plans to announce the price of the luxury car at the Geneva Auto Show, Inside Line suggest that consumers will be able to purchase the vehicle between $192,665 and $277,350, which are the prices of the automaker's DB9 and DBS models.
